The National Rover Council runs an annual competition aimed at encouraging Rovers to go out and have adventures. This competition is designed to encourage Rovers to consider what would be an adventure to them, and to plan and implement such an activity. Remember you have until the 1 November 2011 to participate in such an adventure.
Directions: With a team of at least four Rovers, go on an adventure (any journey or adventurous activity as defined by entrant/s). This can be part of a BP Ramble. In participating in the adventure, media coverage needs to be obtained. This media coverage can be in any format, for example, radio, newspaper, T.V. Evidence is needed.
Reward: The best entry deemed to be Rovering's Greatest Adventure for 2011 will be awarded a $1,000 prize as well as the opportunity to have your presentation placed on the Rovers Australia You Tube Channel.
How to Apply: Simply send a report of the adventure, whether written, video or PowerPoint presentation, or some other format. This report should summarise the planning, implementation and follow-up process of the adventure as well as indicate participants. Copies of the media coverage obtained needs to also be included.
Closing date is 30 November 2011. Winners will be notified following the 2012 NRC Meeting (no late entries can be accepted).
