Full Time Permanent Role based at Sydney Olympic Park
Scouts Australia NSW seeks a Property Economics Officer to assist and influence the Association's strategic and practical management of its property, facilities and other assets, to ensure maximum practical utilisation of, and financial returns on, this large and varied portfolio.
Reporting to the Association’s NSW Property Manager, this role includes dealing with leases, licences, maintenance, compliance, upgrading, rental, disposal and acquisition of Association properties, buildings, campsites and activity centres, and their associated assets.
The Scout Program is over 100 years old, with some 23 000 people involved in NSW. The Program is delivered at some 800 properties across the State, including Scout Halls, Camps, Activity Centres, administration offices, etc. The Association owns property, and also leases property from local councils, and is also the largest leaseholder of Crown property in NSW.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Property Officer to apply, broaden and develop their knowledge and skills of the industry whilst giving back to the community.
